The meaning of FATE
The dictionary defines “fate” as “an inevitable and often adverse outcome, condition, or end; a disaster, especially death.” Unless action is taken on substance abuse and addiction in Oklahoma there will be inevitable and adverse outcomes for the state and for individuals. But we can avoid this fate. We can choose our fate. Oklahomans are not victims of fate—they can overcome the problems of substance abuse and addiction by taking action.
